Medication Aide and Medication Technician Course

A Medication Aide is hired in a nursing facility to administer medications to patients.
 

Medication Aide Training (MAT) takes only 3 days for a low price $230.  If you have take the CNA class with us, you will get this class for $200. This includes all of your books and materials.  It does not include the $55 fee to take state exam.  You must be on the NC Nurse Aide Registry before taking this course.


After taking the MAT with us, you will take the state exam and then become listed with the North Carolina Board of Nursing Registry after passing the exam.

A Medication Technician is a person hired in an adult care home to administer medications.  You do not need to be a CNA to take this course.  You must have a High School Diploma or GED.

How do I enroll?

  • Fill out an application (access on line or our office)
  • You must pay fee for class, to enroll which holds your seat.
  • Payment plans: deposit of $150 at time of registration and pay the balance by the 1st day of class (no refunds for payment plans).
  • Payment methods are money order or certified check only.  NO CASH or CHECKS accepted.  Make payable to:  At Heart Homecare.

Requirements:

  • Must be CNA and listed on North Carolina Board of Nursing Registry.
